Amazing news, unheard of:
I just landed an internship shooting for the Charlotte Observer!

I literally just met the directory of photography, Bert Fox, last Tuesday.
He gave a talk at my university, and I spoke to him after words... but didn't dare ask for an internship (I'm just a lowly Sophomore who's only taken one photoJclass).

But through some miracle of miracles, he later that night asked the head professor of PhotoJ for a recommendation for an intern ( he had had somone lined up, but they opted out for another opportunity with National Geographic). That professor, spoke to mine, and I got the Rec and the phone call yesterday.

I've been thinking maybe I'll open a separate account for photojournalism. But then I think .. I have other websites for portfolios, deviant art is my story, from the beginning.. and I think i'll keep it that way.
