The focus in this is much, much better, in my opinion ^_^ I sort of understand the uber-short pencil, like it's been written and erased with a hundred times, but it makes it a little unrecognisable. Also, I liked when it was a wider photo. Still, the focus in this is a lot clearer, and the viewer isnt distracted trying to decipher it from the main focus of the image. A very much improved refinement :3
